Concrete solutions for a clean future
Western Returned Scholars from Switzerland have brought back not only new knowledge and new vision, but also new recognition and new emotion about Swiss society and Swiss people. To lead life in an environmentally friendly way is a typical Swiss life style, from which we should learn. We support the historical Solar Impulse Project which was conceived and born in our common second motherland--Switzerland, and pay a tribute to clean technology.
Swiss Branch of Western Returned Scholars Association has more than 200 members, who play an important role in various fields. The Scholars studied und returned from Switzerland are characterized by sophistication, and many of them still conduct academic exchanges with their Swiss colleagues after return to China, which proves success of Sino-Swiss education cooperation.
Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg are attempting the first round-the-world solar flight, an adventure to promote the use of clean technologies.
Clean technologies used on the solar aircraft could be used on the ground and reduce 50% of our world’s energy consumption... as of today. But for this, we need political courage and pioneering spirit.
We launched the #futureisclean initiative to create a federation of organizations pushing the replacement of old polluting devices by existing clean technologies.
Just like onboard Solar Impulse, solutions already exist to reduce energy consumption. We have gathered 357 organizations around this initiative. Some of them sent the solutions they wanted to promote at COP21.
The vote is now over, here are the top 5 solutions you voted for!
